    Welcome to Milan, one of Italy’s most fashionable cities, rich history, art and culture. Upon arrival, you'll be privately transferred to your hotel.

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today, enjoy a city walking tour of Como with your own private English-speaking guide. Discover Como through its monuments, old houses, palaces, streets, courtyards, towers, medieval walls and churches. Reach the village of Brunate by funicular, enjoying breathtaking views over the city and the surrounding landscape.

    Day 3: Como

    After breakfast this morning, your private English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel to take you on a beautiful tour of Lake Como by public ferry. During your sailing, you will be captivated by the various villages scattered along the lakeshore, the Medieval hamlets, Romanesque churches and the stunning views of the flora and of course, the stunning villas with their flourishing gardens, built for aristocracy. Visit Bellagio, considered the gem of Lake Como, for a walking tour; continue the ferry to Varenna, situated on the east side of the lakeshore on a rocky headland dominated by a mountain whose summit bears the unmistakeable silhouette of the tower of an ancient castle. Visit the historical center dating back to the Middle Ages, and then return to Como by ferry.

    Today, enjoy your day at leisure to explore on your own.

    Day 5: Como - Milan

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Your private driver will pick you up to take you to Milan, the second-most populated city in Italy, one of the world’s top fashion capitals and major political center. Upon arrival, check-into your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

    Day 6: Milan

    Breakfast at your hotel. Today, enjoy a discovery of Milan on a small-group walking tour led by your professional, English-speaking guide. Go back in time to 400 BC and discover ancient Milan, ruled by the Visconti family, and enhanced by the Sforza lords who adorned it with their grandiose namesake castle. Your guide will introduce you to Milan’s characteristic features you will start experiencing its unique lifestyle enjoying a complimentary tasting of delicious typical products. Get your camera out for iconic sites such as Galleria Vittorio square and the outside of the Cathedral; admire the exterior of the world-renowned La Scala Opera House. Milan was the home and ‘workshop’ of world-renowned Leonardo Da Vinci, and many other artists; the city boasts a refined atmosphere and brilliant contemporary art scene. End your day with priority access to the awe-inspiring masterpiece, The Last Supper.

    Airfare is subject to availability and is only included if indicated in the itinerary summary. All services are subject to availability at time of booking. Airport and departure taxes are subject to change at any time. Once a deposit is received, it is 100% non-refundable. For full terms and conditions, contact your travel advisor. DEPOSITS: A fully non-refundable deposit of $350 CAD/USD (dependent on the currency of the booking) per person is due upon confirmation of a land reservation. Packages including airfare will require full payment at time of tickets being issued. The balance of the land package is due 60 days before departure date. Due to COVID, depending on the date of travel, more flexible booking terms are possible. Other exceptions involving special events, conventions and holidays may require a higher deposit amount and in some cases FULL non-refundable payment will be required at time of booking. Full terms and conditions of your tailor-made package will be advised at time of actual quotation and booking. Terms and conditions outlined in the remarks section of invoicing at time of booking and supersede cancellation terms outlined elsewhere. NOTE ON SIGHTSEEING: Sightseeing is indicated as per the itinerary. We have made every effort to verify the availability of sightseeing stops on the specific days visits are requested. However, due to special seasons, sometimes on short notice, particular estates, sights, museums and gardens may be closed on the day they appear on your itinerary. If travelling with guided arrangements, your guide will advise and adjust the itinerary as necessary. If you are on a self-drive tour, it is recommended that you verify opening times before setting out. PACKAGE INCLUSIONS: - Accommodation: All prices displayed in this brochure are based on standard rooms at the hotel selected unless otherwise noted. All hotel rooms have private facilities. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of similar category without notice. In the event of a downgrade, a proportional rate adjustment will be made. Special requests made by your travel agent on your behalf for particular rooms, room location, bed types etc., other than those published in our brochure are never guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges and are at the discretion of the hotelier or contractor. Airfare - International airfare and domestic airfare is included in packages as noted in specific itineraries. There are some itineraries that do not include any airfare in the package price. INSURANCE: All passengers are STRONGLY URGED to take out sufficient travel insurance coverage to protect themselves against cancellation prior to departure or during travel.
